Whats behind the black bit?

I am looking to install parking strip antenna along my back bumper and on the in side, I have highlighted the area in blue that is where I want it to run, but I need to know if the black bit at the bottom, (in red) if removed will reveal more bumper behind it (meaning I still want have access) or if its just an empty space then this will allow me to install the parking kit with out the need to remove the back bumper.

Do anyone know what it looks like and if there is any pic of this black bit off?

I did try to remove it my self but felt like I was going to snap it as its clipped in to tightly, I don't want to pay someone to remove it if its not going to give me the access I need.

its still bumper behind it Ive taken mine off to repaint it, its just screws and wedge clips holding it on it took about 3 minutes to get it off
 
so removing it will give me no more access then?
 
No it's just as it appears if you put your head under and look at the back of the bumper

ok thanks, so no choice but to remove bumper all together?
 
That's just as easy to do, a bit longer but easy nonetheless. Take the rear arch screws out, the screws along underneath then pop the rear lights out and remove the big long main bolts then it just comes off.
