Car was working perfect first of all I get the half break pressure issue with abs pump park the car up go into work come out start Car and fuel gauge is stuck on empty .

I've checked continuuity between the pump and clocks all ok and the sender to the plug . Any other ideas ?

Is there anyone nearby who could scan the car with VCDS for you?

Sounds like the sender unit could be the culprit. If you don't have access to VCDS then you could try the harder way and remove the sender unit from the tank and manually moving the float up and down to see if the gauge moves.

Had the sender out and moved it by hand and nothing . Code I had was 00771

Did it state 'short to ground'? If so that means the fuel sensor is damaged. Not sure if there are any guides on cleaning and/or repairing.
