Hello!

Been on the forum for quite a while now and tought it was time to make a thread on my car.

It's a 2000 model Audi S3, engine code APY and remaped to 260hp at an Norwegian tuner by the previous owner

After I bought the car I did some upgrades, so the car got a 3" down pipe and a custome cat-back exhaust that me and a friend moked up on a weekend, there is a slight drone inside the car but it's not to bad

the last upgrade I did was coilovers from D2, braided brakelines from ECS and brakepads from Hawk.

And here's a few pics of how the car looked when I bought it

Realy happy with the DP

Here in Norway the laws are pretty strict, but as long as your car doesn't look to crazy and you don't draw any more atention to your self than you should you are okay

We do have a type of MOT like you guys have in England that the cars have to pass every 2. Year

Great photo location. Always wanted to go to Norway and check out the aurora borealis in Tromsø.

Oh, nice S3 too :)

Tromsø is a beautiful city, personally I haven't been that north in the country but it's definitely something on my bucket list

Would love to travel to Australia one day too, the country looks realy interesting

Lately I've been installing cruise control in my car and today I got to aktivate it trough vag-com and test it, works like a charm

Just wondered how 550cc bosch injectors would work with 350hp?
And do you map from the standard me7 or piggyback/standalone ecu?

Oh, and how manny hp can the original fuel pump support?

yes they are what is used for hybrid builds.

and around 300hp if you're lucky on 550s at stock pressure. They are known to be weak on old and high mileage cars

What hp are you hoping for? I have a hybrid K04 in mine, I think it's around 300hp. But now I've a few more bits I want to do. Including a 3" downpipe. I have a 2.5" catback. Where did you get your downpipe?

That's be great. Any of the ones I've looked at have been big money. I think 300whp is ambitious. But if you make it, I would certainly be interested in seeing the mods and fuel you use.

There is a buy it now and a bidding "war" on the DP, I got it for 550 quid so not the cheapest but it's realy good, yeah I know 300 is ambitious so I hope for the best

The parts keep on arriving, this time it was the rods, fuel pump, silicone joiners, SAI block off and map sensor flange

The clutch is also on it's way so it is all coming together nicely.

Does anybody know if BBT has a user on ASN as I've tried to contact them via email but without any response

A minor update.
My clutch is going through customs as I'm writing (super excited about that) and the turbo, manifold and TIP will be ordered this upcoming friday (payday)

Just one thing I'm wondering about, talked to BBT and he said that the k418t comes with the uprated actuator as standard but on the wed site I get to choose yes or no on the actuator..... which do I choose? Yes....?

And a few pictures of the car that I shot a couple of weeks ago

What clutch are you going to be using as I'm buy one for my bam s3 soon?

Great looking car mate :icon thumright:

260hp in stock form...impressive. Must be from the cold weather out there.
With the hybrid turbo you are expecting 300hp on crank or at the wheels ?

Keep up the good work
cheers

I`m hoping for anything close to 300 at the wheels ;)

Time for an update :)

The clutch and manifold arived a few weeks ago, there was a change in plans, I ordered the pro 4 manifold and the TIP will be custome made from 3" aluminum piping :) And i also recently ordered a mocal oil cooler, moroso oil catchtank, AN10 fittings and braided lines, tfsi coils and IE top cover and crankcase breather adapters

The turbo is also soon to be delivered ;)

So al the bits and pieces are faling together now

I am building a similar setup as you but I want to go BT later because I just rebuild the engine for 400HP+.
Do you think I can fit bigger injectors with hybrid K04 so I won't have to change them later? (750cc would be ok for 400hp I think..)

PS: Great looking car you got there :)

I think you kan go with bigger injectors on the hybrid and tune it to the hp you want, arest me if im wrong ;)

I've been told that 550 should be more than enough to support a hybrid setup which is what I'll be running :)

The turbo arived today and looks really good :D thank you BBT!!!

Now I'm wondering about porting the exhaust housing, but what is the benefits of doing this? :)

Some bits and pieces has arrived lately so the start of the build is getting closer by every day, the following weeks now I will be concentrating about my electrical exam so I can get my electrician license ;) but after that I am determined to start the build :D

Got one question about the turbo, it came with a threaded hole (for an egt probe maybe?) But what are the specs on this, threads and hole size? If anyone knows this I'd appreciate it :)

I got an AEM egt gauge and sensor with 1/8 npt fitting and this one is to small for the hole.
