Hi I'm looking at a short shift kit on eBay, but I want to know if it will fit a 1.8TFSI 2008 pre face lift model.

don bother , all short shift will Fuxk up the gears.. in long term...

And how about S3 shifter, which is shorter than stock A3 ?

I've noticed no difference what so ever with changing from normal to short shift on my s3

I doubt a short shifer would do anything on a short shifting S3 , Scooby WRX STI and alike but work wonders on the long throw of a Sierra Cosworth .
