Hi all,

Just a quick post to bring you guys upto date on whats happening in the tuning world regarding this new 2.0 TFSI engine in the new VAG cars.

As some of you may know here at DTUK we are very well recognized in the diesel plug and play tuning market and have been for over 10 years now.

We have over the past few years been spending time and quite a lot of money developing systems and software for petrol engine cars in the market place.

We have focused our attentions on the new 2.0 TFSI engine as a priority and to date have had some very impressive figures, which cant be argued with and are very comparable to stage 1 remaps available on the market right now from APR & REVO ect.

The main difference is that these are true plug and play systems and more importantly for the VAG community they are TD1 safe.

So in a nutshell you keep your warranty and gain a really quick car.

Take a look below at the figures our TD1 safe tuning systems offer you…….

The first link is one of our customers logging times with VBOX with his s3 with DTUK FSR plug and play system fitted. Thread taken from Audi-Sport.net

This second is a link taken from R forum and the event at Crail Raceway last weekend. This makes for some interesting reading if you are considering a stage 1 remap.

With reference to the Revo Golf R vs APR Golf R, on the day....

APR Golf R = 12.21 113.9mph

Revo Golf R = 12.25 115.1mph

Both cars losing out to the quicker S3 (8V) running a tuning box in 2nd place there.

So is this the stock tune on the FSR box with no other supporting mods, or a custom file that has been developed and not released yet? Cuz I also am running the FSR+ box, but it is for sure not even close to running a 3.77s time, so what else has been done to this? Mainly because I am interested.

Hi Cons3,
Its the software you have running map 3 +3 and the car is stock apart from the FSR system.

you know what's funny, my TDI with the DTUK box does the 1/4 mile faster than 2 S3 and a golf R :uhm:

DTUK says 240, I don't really care how much it does actually, at the end the result is given by the stopwatch.

Same with me. Whatever I do, I'm not even getting close to it. Not that the box fails to provide decent gains, but not that much.
