Ebay decat and down pipe??

Hi all, sorry if this comes up a lot, I did do a search but anything that came up was from years ago.

Decat and down pipes are on ebay for around the £90 mark are these up to the job and are they a straight foward enough fit?

From what I've seen, yeah they are very simple to bolt on. You need to be careful when un-doing the 4 bolts at the engine end because they can snap off, as they will most likely be rusted up. Best to soak in some kind of penetrating lubricant. I'm sure someone one here will advise.

Anyone know if they make a noticeable difference in performance? On say a 2.5" Full exhaust system? (Sorry to hijack thread!)

yours is an s3 right?
if so more like 200 ish
a3 can be had for around 90
i had one it was fine. sounded nice

The description says: PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL ONLY FIT THE S3 MODELS IF THE FLANGE AND PIPE IS MODIFIED

That will not fit an s3 in any way/shape/form. Relentless or pipeworx are your 2 big choices for an s3.
