Engine Mounts Seized?

Hi All,

My B7 A4 appears to be shaking a little excessively when idle. Guessing the engine mounts have gone? Is there anything higher grade than OEM to go for? How much am i looking for getting these changed etc?

Can go for RS4 with no fluid, it'll throw an error as it doesn't plug into the ecu but other than that there's no issue other than more vibration. You can check if they need replacing via vag-com.

Sounds good! those mounts are an ebay job?

I believe this is also symptomatic of an injector issue ?

Audi have checked the injectors under the recall and everything is supposedly okay. Engine mounts were supposedly perished badly

Got mine from the main dealer but would imagine eBay's just as good so long as they're legit, if not Euro car parts may have some and prices are generally fairly competitive may even be cheaper than eBay if they have them. Mine were B5 RS4 mounts, not sure if B7 RS4 mounts are the same fitting but B5 definitely works for B6 & B7.
