Rear Parking Camera Question

Do any of you guys know if it's possible to configure the Rear Parking Camera via VAGCOM to enable the MMI screen to show what's behind while in normal forward driving mode.
Before anyone says use your rear view mirror I just think it would be a great option to be able to select it if it were at all possible.
 
Cheers, yeah I was beginning to think that with the lack of feedback tbh. I still like the concept of it but doesn't look straight forward and not that simple to set up.
 
I fitted the xcarlink reverse camera, replaces the boot lid handle like the original.

Still only activates when in reverse, the moment you take the car out of reverse the screen goes back to whatever it was on. However I guess you could wire a camera up to one of the AV inputs, I have not used these tho.
 
Good work..the boot handle type should ensure you get a view which is central.
Fancy fitting myself the forward pointing camera, wonder if it would conflict with the OE rear camera/parking systems ?
