severe lack of members ?

It has always been the same when using the C5 forum as well

the rest seem very busy apart from us

Should see the A8 section... There are far more A4's on the road than A6's, guess that also equates to the amount of forum members. I have seen other forums that have far more active A6 sections.

I came from the uk passat forum which was well and truly buzzing when compared to the A6 (C6) section

I think you need to consider the customer base of these cars. A majority of C6 buyers are business car users, and I doubt they are the forum types, asking for advice and retrofits?! Same story with A8s in my opinion. Great buys used mind, once the depreciation has been taken care of, then we start to get owners who have upgraded to an A6 from a Passat or A4.

Aye but also think about the likes of Audizine and Audi World forums, they are heaving with folk and I'm sure they are not all old duffers, I've been running Audi's for years and years and I'm only 34.

The A6 model is far more popular in the US so the forums will be more active. One thing to note is even if you add all of the threads in the A4 sections, the A3 8L section still beats them, not sure if bigger car owners in the UK = less chance of being a forum user, but it does look that way.

There aren't many A6 members that post

I'll be doing my build thread soon as i have a renewed interest in my car again
It's going on the rollers at the end of the month so I will post everything then

Yea me and my car are single handedly keeping the section alive haha!
