PAINT CODE HELP DESPERATE!

So I've recently got my front number plate bit fibreglassed and smoothed over and re-sprayed but the colours off, I've read around and apparently it's lz3w but the colour doesn't match, any help before I spend MORE money on another spray job that doesn't match!

Cheers for a reply mate, my car hasn't got a sticker anywhere that's the problem, I've read that the paint code is LZ3W but it doesn't quite match. Some people reckon that my car has faded but I don't think it would of faded that much!
 
as above sticker in boot or service book
 
Depends on paint supplier, my bodyshop had to try 5 different sprint blue's before getting a good match for my front and rear bumpers.

Your code may well be right.
 
did you check sticker in service book boot ?
 
The thing with car paint is that there will be variants of the same colour. I am a paint
Sprayer and what you have to do is check the colour code and if it has variants eg. Lighter, brighter, yellower etc then you have to take the swatches or do spray outs and match them against the car to find the right one.

Also did the just mask the number plate section off and spray that? It is best practice to fade/blend the Base coat in.

I could type the code into my computer and see if it comes up with any variants if you like?
