So I cancelled my s3 order after being messed around by the dealer. Now I guess I have a choice. Im annoyed with the whole thing.

I could get a pretty nice second hand 2011 S5 cabriolet in sprint blue.
Or, push the boat out and go for a 2009 911 C4s cabriolet.

Or just sulk and eventually re-order the 8v.

Thoughts? ;-p

Could you not get a pretty decent discount on a new cab S5 rather than a second hand one?

From your signature you were prepared to spend some serious £££ on an S3. I suspect a similar deal would not be an impossibility on a cab S5.

New always better if you can
 
+1 for the Porsche. Different league to the S3.
 
Why are your three options a S3, a convertible GT car and a convertible sports car and what made you originally place an order for a S3? Seems like a strange short list.

I'm not a Porsche fan, or a soft top convertible fan, so I'd get a SLK 55 AMG if it's a convertible you want.
Best looking out of the lot and a whopping great V8 up front.
That said, I'd never have it as a daily driver.

The only 911 I'd consider is a 997 Turbo (not convertible) with ceramics.
 
One more for the Porsche, as S33nyboy12 highlighted plenty of Audi's around. It's a completely different ball game to the S3
