Why wouldn't Audi just hand the spare key to buyers for them to put in their Wallet\Purse\Man Bag\etc., instead of hiding it in the same place for everyone thereby giving the impression to thieves that some might forget about it being in the glovebox?

This idiotic practice makes every owner is a target whether they took the key out or not, as the thieves won't know until they break in to check.

Unbelievable stupidity.

I got a pull in mine the other a night and had a nice sit in a police car with the normal is it yours ? are you insured ? Is that your blow up doll ? :hubbahubba:

Basically I was about 5mph over the speed limit which they didn't do me for but what they did stop me for was driving 5mph above the speed limit in the area I was in (bit rough) in the car I was in at around midnight.

I am pleased they did as it show's they are looking out for our type of cars been stolen etc

Yea I have had the full "boxed in quickly by 4 marked units" treatment a few times. One time I had a roadblock waiting for me at the end of the Snake Pass because I thought that the car keeping up behind me fancied a friendly bit of a race. Was an unmarked copper...

All they were checking was for theft, which is fine by me.

That is the worrying thing with unmarked cars : myself I am not a racer but I do drive spirited if I am on a road I know well and we all buy the cars we have because we like a play when confident to do so and normally when something hammers up to your bumper at warp speed its something trying to make you boot it.

This happened to me when I got done for speeding. Was raging. Fair play I know I shouldn't be speeding but they enticed me into it.
