How long would it take for a decent garage with ramp access to fit 3" downpipe and decat to my s3???? Rough guide anyone?

Pipeworx charged ~£200 to fit mine, together with a non-res miltek system and backbox.

Cheers for the info mate. Much appreciated.

It took me 1 hr and that was with removing prop as it was a Quattro

i only had ramp time for 1 hour so they bet me i couldnt do it :) i did have a 2 poster ramp plus the exhaust had been off the week before so no seized nuts
iv just noticed that this the 8L forum i did it on a 8P , i replied through tapatalk and couldnt tell,

Still good going regardless mate. Fair play

My friends dad did it in 2 hours with no past experience on s3 , he is a mechanic with a ramp. But I was still impressed by that, I think 2-3 hours is fair and going rate especially if there are seized bits to fight with!

Mines not an S3 just an A3 1.8T and my local garage fitted a full cat back (3" downpipe, decat and 2.5" system) swapped the front sensor, took the old exhaust apart a cleaned it and bagged it up for me. 1 hour labour £50 +VAT

So much easier on the a3 though sadly for us.
Lucky for you!!

and in case anyone cares the 1.8t quattro is the same as the S3

Is the dog bone engine mount easy to do when changing the dp and cats? Got a poly bushed one in considering fitting at the same time as my relentless bits.

yup, 2x 16mm bolts into the bottom of the gearbox and 2x 13mm bolts into the front of the subframe, should take about 2 minutes
