A4 Dynamik Owners Thread

Thanks. I got some autoglym products which I have been using. Think I might need to give it a a good wax soon though.

I have stuck to the official pressures and Yes the ride can be pretty harsh especially if travelling at speed.

Anyone got a S tronic Dynamik? Mines a S tronic and am really liking the gearbox.

I have never noticed the ride as being harsh. I have had a number of people in the car who actually comment to the contrary that it is in fact a really smooth car to ride in. I use 17" wheels with much higher profile tyres for the winter and cant say i really notice much of a difference then either.

I would say most of the time it is smooth but I only noticed it once when I was driving it on the M25 that I could feel more bumps etc compared to my old Audi B6 but coming from old 16" wheels I guess that is to be expected tbh.

I can certainly tell the difference in ride when there is an extra couple of PSI in the tyres.

Great Idea to have a Dynamik section on here.
I have had mine since 2011 and love it.
I think it looks better than an S4 and I get positive comments about mine all the time.
I am new on here but will upload some pics soon.
Only mod done to my car is privacy glass.
I think it adds to the overall effect.

Yeah they do often get positive comments i agree. Make sure you upload some pics soon :icon_thumright:
Avoid the Revo Remap if you have a manual or else you will need an uprated clutch.

Would you suggest any cleaning products?

I noticed a small chip (stone chip?) on the inside spoke on one of my wheels when I washing it the other day. Anyone know what the best thing to use to get it touched up?

Thanks.

Very cool these, never knew they existed. Love the add on kit. Are they all petrol?

whats the interior like?

Hi Brennan,

Petrol and diesel, although I think most are petrol?

All the same spec as far as I'm aware?...

Seats are full Milano leather black...

Cheers Sean

Keenu as for the stone chip on the wheel, i had a very tiny one aswell so i touched it up with so black touch up paint which i still had from my old Bmw, now its near enough invisible.
You are probably not the only one Brennan, There isnt many knocking about.
Most are petrol and there are a few diesels, all the same spec and the seats are full black milano leather like the S-Line seats.
If you type 'Dynamik' into the keywords on Autotrader, you can have a look at all the ones for sale.

I have had a few little chips on the insides of my spokes as well.
I used a gloss black touch up colour from Halfords.......
It seems a very good match.

Thanks for the response guys. I will get some over the weekend.

Hi again Brennan,

I believe the diesels are 2.0 tdi with 170hp......

As Audi Dynamik has said there are a few for sale on autotrader or the bay to get an idea and pics.

Yeah I stumbled across them a couple of years ago and was hooked, looked for a while for one and missed out on a couple before getting my one, personally think they are the best looking a4 in standard trim! (I'm probably a little biased now I have on tho)!!!!!!!

Only had it a few wks and loads of people have commented on it!!

Cheers Sean

Good idea to have a dedicated section. I have had my Ibis Dynamik for just over a year new. I have done a couple of minor retro fits using OEM parts.
  • Electric folding Mirrors.
  • Door puddle and red warning lights
  • Interior door handle LED's

Very nice indeed. I saw an 11 reg White Dynamik TFSI saloon today on the M62 near birch services at around 5PM heading towards Leeds. I was also in the Dynamik they looked amazing blasting down the motorway together in the shining sun.

Saw another White Dynamik 11 Reg Saloon today on the way back from Internationals. It was on the M6 at 17:30 near Birmingham heading towards the North-West. It was in the 50 Mph average speed camera zone and it was stopped on the bottom of the slip road with a Highway Maintenance Land Rover for about 10 seconds dont know what all that was about.
Anybody on here ?

Took the Dynamik for its first MOT yesterday. They noticed the Oil level was 50% on the MMI and suggested I top it up. Only done around 350 or so miles since it was full.

How much oil are you guys using?

Mine uses about 1/2 litre per 700 miles.
I had an issue with mine and took it to Audi to be checked.
They performed an oil consumption test which means they filled it up and then told me to come back after 650 miles.
When I came back they rechecked the oil level and measured the exact amount used.
They then did some modifications to it and it has been fine ever since.
My 3 year warranty expired recently so I extended my warranty with Audi just in case if happens again.
Is your car still in warranty with Audi?

I thought £450 was good value for peace of mind.
I did look around at other warranty companies but thought it was best to stay with Audi.

£450 sounds about right coming from Audi!::sob:
I take it you haven't done any mods on the car then ?

Ah right I was going to extend my warranty but I got the car remapped so I don't think they would extend it for me:banghead:

Audi hate repairing even if its under warranty never mind when its been remapped. My experience with Audi Customer Service is.. well lets leave it there before i get annoyed :banghead:

How are you mate ?
No point in extending the warranty that means ?
Let the mods begin then going for stage 2 on the car:blackrs4:

Sach clutches are apparently very good uprated clutches. How will you go on with an exhaust kit with the rear diffusers ?

OK, I got the car recently so I will continue to monitor it. Do you know what modifications they did?

Yes it is still under Warranty for a few more weeks and I have extended warranty too.
