Audi Tow Bar ?

Yes - search the Forum for Westfalia. Helpful thread, saved me lots of pennies
 
I have one like that....but I use it :p. Do Thule not do a remove able one?
 
Not seen folding on an A4. Only seen the detachable Westfalias.

They are simple to use but you do of course have the swan neck piece to store when not in use.
 
On mine there is a place in the spare wheel compartment. I'm sure a bit of bubble wrap and a cable tie should sort any issues with storage...
 
I haven't seen the folding version like the A6 one on the YouTube clip - probably glad I haven't seen the price either.

The removable Audi towbar is the Westfalia one, and easily fitted. Pfjones.co.uk about the cheapest, they can supply only or supply and fit including the coding. I took the lazy option and it was £500 all in and fitted and coded on my drive.
 
I fitted mine all by myself in about 45 minutes.

Pulling off the rear bumper is the trickiest by yourself, but easy enough to do once you have removed all the fittings.

The other challenge is one nut that has to be fed into a narrow gap between silencer heat shield and body, a good fitting spanner and a bit of duct tape helps there.
