Bought some Vmaxx's for my sportback from DPM, they are great, ride quality and handling have improved noticeably

Trouble is im running 225/40/18 tyres with ET 42 wheels and although the car isn't stupidly low (sline height) the rear arches will catch on the slightest of dips and bumps in road with only 3 people in the car

Is it safe to say iv bottled it with ET 42 rims and shouldve got ET 45....will adding negative camber aid my problem?? My prev wheels had 215 tyres so slight stretched and even theyd rub with ET 42

I would check your back arches, as on mine there was a screw that I removed from it and it stopped the rubbing.

Hope this helps mate.

remove rear arch screw or grind down the tab and half of the screwhead like i have

if it really persists then you could change rear 2 wheels to ET45 ones

In the order I would do it, until the problem stops:

Arch liner screw removal.
Negative camber.
225 width tyres.
Change wheels to a less aggressive offset.

It doesn't look slammed but the final option is raise ride height but chaning all of the above should remedy the problem unless the rubbing is severe.

Yeah remove the screw that holds the top of the bumper, tiny screw makes all the difference. Sorted mine unless I hit a big bump.

What J are the wheels? I had et42 on mine with no issues very low but was running 215 tyres

Thanks for all the advice guys, did try the arch liner screw and it has improved slightly, think i might have to set a slight camber and possibly stretch tyres
Jaye am running 8j's mate

Get some 215 and you be fine to go low low. Mine were 8.5 and had no issues
