In the last few days I've noticed the car holds back as I climb up the revs in boost for a second or two and then pulls again, doesn't seem to happen all the time but when it does it's usually 3rd gear around 3k revs, anyone encountered the issue or have any suggestions, its a 2008 S3 totally standard.

Thanks

Yea same as me! I had a new intercooler fitted cause it was cracked but still doing the same, changed diverter valve to dv+ but still same, going to get smoke test done see if I have a leak anywhere, feels like there's a pipe flapping about at around 3-4k rpm so need it looking at

Really weird, I had a new radiator put on probably 4/6k miles ago due to a hole in mine, all was fine till a few days ago wouldn't mind but Ive just sunk a couple of hundred into it on a service and new discs/pads.

I'm assuming your EML is on, just been out for a drive while the roads are quiet 3rd gear up the revs no problem, do it again massive lag, repeat no problem, so random.

let me know how you get on mate hopefully get mine looked at this week.

No lights up at all! Don't know if it's just a loud turbo or pipe burst! I'll let you know what I find out!
