Booked remap but...

Im looking to get my a5 3.0tdi mapped in a few weeks but im not sure on whether to get the s-tronic box mapped at the same time. Has anyone mapped their gearbox and is it worth it?
Also, dpf removal, is it worth removing purely from a performance point of view?

have it done at the same time
iv never owned a s-tronic but know a few that do
and they say its well worth haveing done.

If you want the maximum amount of power from it then the DPF will need to go. It is quite restrictive and will bump up EGT temperatures so limiting the fuelling a little. Also if you decide to change the exhaust you can get it to sound really good with no DPF. With the DPF in it really kills the noise.

Thats a good read. Well done with it, I think I may do some of the smaller mods youve done before its mapped. Im assuming mine would be the same. Where would you say is the best place to map these cars?

I did the remap and DPF delete on Karl's, but we are in Stockport, near Manchester.
