audi a4 tdi 130 awx... whhhooshing / liquid sound when engine is revved

Hi,

could someone help me with problem I have

in a morning from cold ( noticeably heard when revving the engine ) from behind the dash I can hear a whooshing sound / liquid passing I just can’t work out what it could possibly be??

Does anyone have any ideas what the sound could be?

check under your battery its a very comon problem on the B6 B7

theres a gromit that needs removeing to stop water fill up

this has been removed a long time ago but if it wasn't and filled up with water why would it make this sound?

well strange you say that as I have oil leaking from the left hand side of the block as you stand at the front of the car which im soon to get done.... funny since I have noticed this the sound has been there?? wonder why its making this sound?

power seems fine tbh but the hg is leaking oil down the gear box... its more like a water sound tbh behind the dash...
