Made a case for the LED screen for the controller to sit in front of the gear leaver, High gloss black to match the surrounding area

Added a polished control knob and will be making some longer dater cables as the ones you get are stupidly short

thinking about a few other engine modification, So some bits may be up for sale?

Not much has happened recently as i've been busy doing heads, inlet etc and building my own flow bench

I have fitted the inlet and new turbo

SEM Inlet manifold and the new OD GT HTA3582r with IE pulley

Also fitted a cooler running thermostat and see how that goes? I can alway fit the standard one back in as i thought it alway ran a little hot in traffic, also got to get a cam chain tensioner as its throwing codes for it and everything that could cause it is fine.

The car has will now become a weekend only thing as i got myself a work horse in shape of a 1.4 petrol 08 citroen berlingo van.:racer:it must be 60bhp at most on a cold day with cool air.

Another good thing is that i hope to be getting my exhaust and down pipe made up soon, No 3.5 inch or 4 inch expansion down pipe for me like Tuffty's or Staceys as i just don't have the room so we'll see how a 3 inch down pipe and system will do but with the same set up of silencers.

Love this thread, I've only just joined the a3 scene and it's threads like this that make me seriously want an s3 now! Can't wait to see the final outcome :)
 
Very little update

1 years tax and its last tax disc it will wear before the governments discontinue them

Will be picking up the cam chain tensioner from Audi costing £144.88+vat then i hope to get it all done one weekend and get it booked in for the new exhaust
 
Nice how the cam gear matches the compressor wheel :)

Going to run a cam belt cover surely ;)

If i run it in "street" then its just running my Blue haldex controller

In "race" i will run it in 50/50 split or as it says on the display 100% Haldex but as you can see i can adjust it to as low as 0%

1/4 i can adjust it way i want

crc-performance have just emailed to say their system doesn't work with the Blue controller

I'd be interested if they told you different

what does the blue controller?

Would have been nice to have kept the blue alongside

At least they seem to hold their value
 
crc themselves picked up on the blue controller - they saw it in the spec of my car I'd sent & told me my original controller was required

I'd like to question them further, but think there's a bit of a language barrier
