banging wipers pls help!

As the title says, my wipers are banging and driving me crazy. I have changed the blades a number of times and doesnt seem to help. Has any one ever had a problem before.

before I rip the lot out and change everything

They are usually on a toothed splin. If you remove the whole arm and refit with the blade slightly higher up the winscreen it may help. When you say banging do you mean the blade is flipping over? Or is it striking the seal on the windscreen on either side?
 
Looks like the blades are flapping over when they come back down. Thats when the bang

doing my tits in lol
 
Try the above on the passenger side, remove from the spline and refit i forget what socket you need but a bit of wd40 may help loosen the arm after the nut is off as it tends to be a tight fit.

Mine used to do the same, and like you've said mate the noise drives you crazy !! I just changed my wipers with a new set and it's been fine since ?

May just be the one off sizes of the blades ?
 
Not sure if you could adjust the tension also?

I feel like getting out and ripping them off. I must of had 3 sets on it might try Audi blades
