Hi I have the iPod dock extra in the glove box, I have bought a converter from the old iPhone connector to the new slim iPhone5 one but the head unit doesn't recognise it. Is it just a software update or more? Dan
Does any one know how make the iPod Dock in car worth with iphone 5

Ah right, no it was just a cheap one of eBay to convert it to the lightning connector. Perfect ill have to fine genuine one then

Are you all using a cable or an adapter that you push in and it stays in the dock? I can't find one anywhere just Chinese ones, unless I get one direct from apple
