Just out of interest - do you have an S3? Or have ordered one? Obviously no reason to ask what colour if so, but just wondered if you are part of the gang, moreso to hear your views on ze car...

options are nice and I don't disagree with any of them, but I have been sold on the s3 because it's a little bit of a supercar baiter. The 300bhp Quattro set up will be enough to keep my smiling through the 36 month pcp
I like the alloys. Does it bother me that all s lines have them as well? Couldn't care less...at the end of the day it matters what you like, not what everyone else has.
How much is a set for your winters setting you back? I'm thinking of doing the same.
whilst looking at the s3 my wife commented on the a1 in the showroom which had the awesome 18in 5 spoke silver/black alloys - I think these are like the old s3 alloys...darn looks like ill be poor next year

No way! I think they look great but I think the red breaks look even better - why is that not an option. I noticed the red S3 on the front of the brochure has red breaks, it should be an option over here! Defo send pics and i'll throw up due to jealousy!

Paint them yourself. £20 and a couple of hours work. Audi in Germany charge I think â¬400 for the pleasure!

As for the brake calipers - i agree they should be an option! The S3 Saloon has pics with red brake calipers but no option....?
I'm usually not one to not mess around with an S car asthetically, but this S3 needs a little attention IMO...
Yeah it looks quite reserved but thats a good thing too - such a fine line between making something look classy and understated or a bit OTT. The 4 pipes on the rear were a winner for me. Basically from the side it is IDENTICAL to an s-line (baring the wheels) but from the front there are some subtle adjustments which look great and then BOOM at the back it goes mental which I love!
To clarify are you getting the red callipers along with the wheels or just the wheels?

im getting standard seats as im probably too fat and old to get into the sports seats.

was in a friends competition pack m3 e92 today and it's changes are better than my porsche PDK.
he is a manual fan but concedes that dual clutch transmissions are here to stay and have their place. He also drives a ford escort rs2000 pristine and a track day e30 m3 his all time favourite car.
in addition, these auto boxes are only going to get better.... Fantastic

Fast enough in Reading and surrounding areas and m4 as you can rarely get over 30mph in rush hour even on the motorway
yeh I had that same problem - I ordered misano, then thought about estoril but wasn't keen on it in the flesh but saw a glacier white with pano roof one and was sorely tempted to change but stayed with misano but ordered the pano roof, lol

Not touching the calipers until next year when the weather gets a bit better, don't want to get them done and have snow, grit, salt etc all over them straight away, i'd do the same with the wheels but can't wait to see what they look like!
I don't think I could ever vote Tory again.. Our local MP has a Bling MB with an illegally spaced PP L14M FX just about sums up why I have views!

Agreed - Looks great that. Way better than some of the more sedate colours most people are going for. Anyone post a pic of a solar orange S3 SB? Placing my order next month... between glacier white, yellow or orange. Decisions, decisions ...

Well i think it would look quite naff on a "normal" A3 but on an S3 it makes it look special and different. I personally don't have the balls to go for such a colour as I prefer not race every boy racer out there but I do understand why some people would go for such a colour on an S3 .

That is the closest pic I have seen to date that is the same as my spec. Mines exactly the same except mine is brilliant black not panther. Looks great

Great taste man! When's yours arriving?
I've never been a huge fan of black 'Editions' but this has just converted me!! The dark wheels go so well, and love the way the silver mirrors really pop...very mean looking!

Yeah that was the effect I wanted to go for... Accentuating the s3 only features. The red badges stand out too because of the simplicity of the look. The light interior also helps to break up all the black! It's was a bold move because I hadn't seen ANY cars with this combo before, but looking at that picture it's paid off in my opinion. Of course it won't be to everybody's liking!

Daniel at Kings Lynn told me early to mid January. I'm hoping it will be just after new year.
I stupidly forgot to add tints, I've no idea what I was thinking! Going to get them done as soon as it comes I think.

Not too long either, Christmas will fly by... always does!

The tints do look good! I forgot to put them on aswell but I'm actually quite surprised by how dark the standard tint is to the windows.

Oh by the way, put her in dynamic earlier for a little play. Not only does it BANG! on up shifts (which makes people stare), it also throttle blips too on downshifts! I am a child....
