After a 15 minute plate on the ferry last night I got it in to a ok driving position and it did well this morning for 4 hours driving.
I would never buy one but it did the job.

It only has front speakers.
what is all that about?
Stupid low spec company car.

My Mum's 2009 Polo only has front speakers too. It was a dealer stock list car which didn't even come with remote central locking either - Mum had them fit some aftermarket thing...

id like one of you saying jammy dodgers. then i can set it as my text tone!

Hows that?

I've got a friend from Preston and every time I see her, I get her to say "Curly Wurly" as it makes me laugh.

Got a mate from Bolton. When his little 4 year old girl would talk it would always make me laugh. no matter what she was saying I just laughed. I thought that accent coming out of this 4 year old girl was the funniest thing ever!!

Wedding anniversary today. And I didn't forget. Win!

Nice recordings Scott. Lol to curly wurly

If I was mean, I would say that it's probably not the first time someone has been disappointed in Chez's performance.

However, I'm not mean, so I won't say it.

I was visiting two companies for work, Pico and CSR.

And the b5 was great, except that midway on the journey home it started to make a vibrating/ knocking noise under the handbrake area. It would stop when I let off the accelerator. I slowed to 60 ish and it stopped never to do it again even when I went faster?! I know the exhaust is a bit dodgy the mounting of it, so I need to get under and have a look. I wondered whether it was a resonant frequency vibration thing?

I got 32.8 mpg according to the dis too! :)

Best hope it's not the prop!

Would the prop vibrate randomly? Would it stop? The vibrate was too slow too it felt? It was maybe two times a second? I'd have thought it would have been much faster as I was going 80 when it started.

And if it is the prop, I take it that it's not cheap? :(

I had my prop repaired recently, it was vibrating around 60/70mph and 2/2500 revs.
Took them a while to diagnose it but eventually found the prop.
Had to be ordered from Germany supposedly because it's Quattro, but was fixed under warranty.
Think it was around a grand fitted. So not a cheap fix.

Mines was vibrating all the time tho, not just random. Whenever you used the gas at speed, stopped when you eased off.
Hopefuly by the sounds of it Crazy its not the prop, thats just my two pence worth tho.

Hope you get it sorted.

Scott.

Cheers dude! I'll keep you updated.

I'll get one from someone that's breaking one if it has gone and get my mechanic to fit it if it's a hard job. I don't think it is the prop though (well, that's more me hoping it's not) due to it being so intermittent.

It did it twice a few weeks back which was maybe the same. It also always seems to happen when it's raining, but it does rain a lot haha.

Twice in a month, Ooh yeah. I'm such a petrol head.

Although to be fair, is repairing not different to modding? Ha!
