Well I got my RS3 grill back yesterday from the body shop and it looks great in gloss black . So gave the grill badge surround and grill surround a few coats of polish and wax and here it is . much better than the titanium finish . well I think anyway . I also made myself a plinth for my number plate . please excuse the tatty number plate I am still waiting for new short pressed metal one to arrive .

Before

I also drilled some holes into my grill for my cold air intake . Probably the most stressful holes I have ever drilled lol

Car looks great. Will you be putting the S3 badge back on or leave it as is?

Personally I like the aluminium mirrors as sets it apart

That is 100000% better than before, man what a difference, now sort the mirrors lol.

I have had a look at the s3 badge and don't think it will work on the rs3 grill . myt think of sum thing later though lol

Nah mirrors are stay in aluminium for the time being

Love it apart from the number plate, it looks too skinny for my liking. If I'm being pedantic, the width to the left and right of the text should match up to the width between the top and bottom of the text.

Hes waiting for anew pressed plate so moot point

Looks lush, they are trying to slowing murder your car, once you do the wing mirrors, Wheels, lights, tints, diffuser, roof will be next.

that my grill Jonny?

where you getting the short pressed plate from?

if it were me, Id mount the number low down.

do miss that grill :sorry:

Pressed plate is from a site called pressed plates.com

do you know if the plate will be legal? what size it the plate?

Yes plate will be legal. I have found a different / better site for them but they don't work if you have over 5 characters in your reg like I do

The grill looks amazing in black, really really good :)
Tending to agree with a few now m8 u have started down the black route, the car would look amazing with colour coded mirrors :)
Number plate looks great in my opinion :)

I'm not sure with changing the mirrors but deffo get the lower valance of the bumper done... Looks a bit funny like that.
also I agree that the plate looks a little funny but I think that's because the plate is quite high, not that its mounted high as the mounting points are built into the grill.

i matched the grill to the valance, alloys and mirrors

Looks good. Seems like this is the only site which do show plates?? All other UK sites I've seen arent allowing me to have no spacing as its doesnt comply with the law

Euro Plates

thanks Jonny, don't think these plates are UK legal. Anyone else know where to buy legal short pressed plates for front & rear?

Car look good Jonny. what other plans have you got?
