My mother in law has just had her A3 stolen from outside her house, happend today between 16.00 and 17,30.
Broke in through upvc "secure" door. She was upstairs, never herd a peep. Took keys which were not on veiw and ##cked off.
Car is A3 1.6 fsi s.e.sportback,Piemont red (burgandy metalic),black interior,aluminium trims.
2800 miles! Dent on rear bumper, scrape on n/s/f wing,
Looks like a stolen to order job.
Gits!!!

Keep an eye out fellows..

Rob.

Fekin hell!!!

Its probably lucky she never heard anything or confronted them - it sounds like a professional job.

What have the cops said???

Yeh me and the wife said the same!

Cops said it could be used in a robbery!? I said with a 1.6?, yes sir oh it will be fast enough... I said i suppose if your on a push bike!

I just don't understand it.. its not a fast desirable thing.. stripping it,who wants a 1.6 engine?
The worlds gone mad..

Rob

Cheeky feckers! 4 o'clock in the afternoon?
I know people say don't leave your keys in the hall, but frankly I don't want these cnuts coming upstairs, there's no happy ending to that sort of confrontation.
So if they want the car they can have it.
Car manufacturers should provide dummy keys that won't get them anywhere, but lock them in the car and set off the alarm - now there's an idea!

Isn't that the big problem with a lot of Upvc doors - they can just put a crowbar against them and bend the door so the bolt of the lock is no longer in the frame, and in they go?

They are a joke, all they did was drill into the lock, then screw in a big self tapper, connect slide hammer.
One or two pulls on the hammer and the lock falls in half......modern rubbish!!There was no damage to door at all!!

I'll stick to thick woodern doors with a very big dog behind them!!

Rob.
