HELP !!! fuel system malfunction

well i have had a few issues with my a4, non start got it up a running but now i have fuel system malfunction coming up on dash, and fuel gauge doesnt work aswell? i removed the sender unit to see if it was the fuel at fault for non start and battery went flat aswel

has anyone came across this or no if it needs coding etc??

You need a fault code scan.

i am in the north east, car runns perfect put 60 pounds worth of diesel in too
