This is kind of a repeat post, so appologies in advance, but as they tend to go off on tangents i thought id put another on as need to clarify something please. :sly:.

I have a 1.9 tdi b6 avant. im looking to change the single exhaust for a dual tailpipe, like the s4 and 1.8t etc.

Im struggling to find out which ones will fit

ive had a quick look under mine, its got a single back box that goes to another silencer thats sideways on further down the car.
ive looked at some 1.8 t exhausts on ebay and the look different shapes?
anyone got any advice please?

Sure no problem, there are two types of exhausts the Front Wheel Drive version and the Quattro version.

They are very different indeed so be careful of this when you are looking. To me it sounds like you need the front wheel version which looks like this:

Audi A4 1.8 T Dual Exhaust | eBay

(Its a bit bad of a condition but it gives you an idea)

The Quattro version looks like this:

For Sale: 2004 Audi A4 Tiptronic Stock Exhaust

Hope this helps

thanks mate, the one on mine has the middle silencer is nearly at right angle to the rest.
if i got the 1.8t front wheel drive, would this just fit in its place?

is there anyway of making the quattro one fit mine? as most that i have found for sale are that shape :(

Or you could go custom. S.steel exhaust to suit your eyes and ears. This way can also get rid of your boxes for more free flowing.

Its better to get the rear bumper 1st (with cut outs ready) then the fabricator has something to go by.
