Can anyone tell me where this is located please as i'm attempting to do an oil and filter change tomorrow

If you look towards the front of the car, next to the sump, it looks like the bottom of a coke bottle, black plastic with a 36mm socket shape in the plastic.
Mine has a screw-off bottom (for draining the housing?), and the whole thing unscrews via the nut-shaped bottom to expose the filter.
