my ibis white s3>>> 2007 facelift to 2011 spec - Now With New Pics.

To be honest I didn't plan on doing a thread or I would've done it in much more detail but yes parts of it are a bit trickier than people think i kept the front brackets the same and in the same place but the ones at the back of the wings I had to bend and mess around with them if you send your email I will take some pics tomorrow and glady send you them to give you a better idea. Where abouts are you from if localish would be happy to lend a hand.
 
Sorry just noticed it says your from Milton Keynes so that rules out lending a hand lol.
 
yea i kno, suprised. iv just facelifted mine could had done with a hand lol. my bumper doesnt meet my bonnet proply i cant sus that part out. :s, and can you mail me pics aswell thanks.

right so done a few new bits and bats so thought id do a quick update recently added,
carbon front splitter
new grill with smoothed recess and carbon surround+s3 badge
weitec coilovers [although they need dropping alot now ive sorted out the catching issues]
19inch phaeton helios wheels painted ibis white.

Not like you to pick at the negatives n8 is it hmmm? But anyway the car will defo be coming down but as stated had to sort the scrubbing out 1st,although it won't be static as you scene queens call it as it does get driven quiet hard DAILY so needs to stay useable.

Once the ride height comes down, it'll be a really nice looking car, you can have it sat nice and still useable.
 
wow..... now that's gorgeous, congratulations.
saw this car at Awesome GTi on the rolling road test, the sound was mental....... thought it would take-off
love the white wheels, the rear white plate looks fantastic...... very Germanic, I like it

just had a thought.... fancy painting the Audi rings on the front grill white, for me with the white wheel combo it's a winner:yes:

its already a really nice looking car!

the car is mint in just about every way and had it not been for the snow on sat the ride height would have already been sorted.

Cheers robbie think i remember speaking to you at awesome you a geordie bloke?lol. is the rs3 rolling day still going ahead will have to nip down if so bet they sound epic on the rollers? hmmm suppose the white badge could well be a option.
 
That looks really good.

Just had a pile of trouble sorting out the wheels on mine so it's good to see you've sorted yours out fully.

Mine is also a daily driver so and you really do need that extra bit of clearance for all the potholes etc at the moment.
 
Thanks alex, The roads really are in a sorry state at the moment ive currently got a claim going through for a cracked wheel a couple of months ago

Awful here too.

Wife blew out the front left tyre on hers the other night and I can see myself mangling my new wheels on one of these as well!

Good luck with the claim.

think that was kuro's s3 it was gorgeous but his flikr account seems to be gone im afraid i dont have any in the image banks to share of it will trawl through my photobucket later maybe got one there

you can lift the front bumper up by undoing the bolts that hold the front panel to the chassis and lift it up,

I think I know which one you mean I may have a pic of that looks immense but think its on bags so I've no chance of getting mine sat that well unfortunately.
 
Could be on about a different one then think I have a pic kickin about on the laptop will stick it up when I get home.
 
Looks nice mate, love the Helios :wub: How did you sort the catching issues out? Remove the screws and use 215 / 225 tyres?
 
I was already on 225's so just trimmed the bumper brackets down a bit and seems to be ok now although I'm far from where I want to be height wise so we,l see if I get anymore problems once it's dropped some more
