Standard Boost for 2001 AMK S3

New S3 owner here, could someone please tell me what the Standard boost pressure should be of an AMK S3 2001??

Nice one , cheers fella, Hitting 0.7,0.8 Max, gonna get meself N75J valve or new N75 not sure yet, only Fault on VAGCOM is lateral speed sensor, so will sort that first, cheers for the reply

Don't fit a J valve mate... they cause boost spikes and limp mode on unmapped or generic mapped cars... its a pikey mod from back in the AGU days and not suitable for the newer VAG ecu's

If you need another N75 and are sure that's the issue, I have a working spare one (standard) so message me if needed.

r the advice mate, spend the coin on new recirculating valve instead, the standard DV on her is wet and probs leaking by the looks of it, thanx again Tuffty

Well I can safely say I've just made my first forum balls up, al read replys properly in future, read Tuffty's reply wrong, llf, cheers Karl, good job none of ya know i got quals in Engineering, would of looked a right muppet , cheers again fellas , appreciated

audi upgrades
Soz... normally I quote both psi and bar (psi is what most people seem to understand) but as Karl says, 0.8bar is pretty much 12psi... boost is normally a little lower in the colder winter months and will rise a little in the summer when the air is warmer and less dense
