Bit of a long shot I know! Looking for the build thread with the a/s3 in silver or light grey I think it was on the 5 spoke OZ alloys? Can't really remember much about it :/

Is that the one your thinking of? That's Dane's old S3. The wheels are Fifteen52 Tarmacs.

Apologies if the image doesn't work. It's early and I'm on my phone lol.

There isn't much to remember tbh, it was just an S3 with some wheels on it that he photoshopped into looking like it was hard parked...

Well it isn't on OZ wheels, so you're just assuming this it the car he is talking about!

However, if it is, there's quite a lot to remember really, first ko4'd test car for the B5 TIP, the one that all the gains were quoted from, 278bhp on an engine that was 100% stock bar the TIP, st1 map with timing tweaks only

Wellys famous hybrid that now lives on mine also lived on this for a while, the ups and downs of the AH fabs (would it ever arrive) saga the first ever badger 5 tubular ko4 manifold.

and lets not forget Dane himself, King of all B5 Tea boys and thoroughly entertaining chap all round. He has a dog named quattro now, although I don't think that ever made it into a build thread :laugh:

Dane photoshopped it, then I believe it was Regal who stole the image.

It's unhelpful and gets pretty tiresome :) Unless it's you that's being fished.

Lol thanks for all the replies so far!

Im a bit of a wheel-whore so no it wasn't Danes ;) (although that did look very nice on the tarmacs!)

It was definitely on OZ 5 spokes, quite star shaped, coilovers or lowering springs, few performance upgrades. Definitely in silver and I recall it could have even been abroad! Oh also he put an lcr splitter on and didn't trim the two middle tabs and a few people recommended he did so it sat better!
 
haha, I love it when people don't trim those tabs off, makes them look like Mater from Cars with a droopy lip!

I've finally found the build thread! It was Lorryz Silver S3 from Australia on OZ Canyons lol! I knew it!
