Whats your thoughts??

Looks good but I think they missed a trick by not making it RWD like the BMW M135i.

Why have they missed this trick? The BMW was a RWD car anyways, the Marc A class was designed to be FWD, so making it RWD would be an engineering exercise in itself, making the car not worth while.

Mercedes will sell a bucket load anyways. Premium German hatchback with over 300bhp is what the public wants, and they are just joining the band wagon on top of Audi's success with the 'sold out' RS3 and BMW's 'sold out' 1M Coupe.

Because AMGs haven't been designed to be AWD.... Haldex kills all the fun aspect of any car imo. All fast cars I've driven with Haldex (including the RS3) suffer from horrendous understeer. Every AMG I've driven (a lot of them, ranging from the SLS to the ML63) are about being tail happy, loud, shouty and just generally fun.

end of the day its an like the s3 of the 8p chassis but in merc form

I think we will see loads of these in the near future, although I doubt we will see many of them in the modified scene, as not many people mod mercs for some reason...

I love it, think it looks amazing! Have seen one on the road and they have great road presence.
