Beaulieu Meet Sat 9th Feb 2pm

Right so me and rob have decided to hold a meet at Beaulieu motor museum car park same as always for anyone that's up for coming, vcds will be present and there will be free scanning! as well as great company with the likes of myself... and rob! other than that we have a chat, compare cars, go for drives attempt mods that can be done on a gravel car park so nothing too strenuous but if something needs doing we'll usually give it a go! then we usually end up in a pub somewhere for drinks/food maybe. sat 9th feb, 2pm far end of the car park. post in here if interested and pm your no. to me and i'll add you to the generic texts I send out nearer the time, and in case you can't find what part of the car park we mean! Yup me n Josh will be there rain or shine so if your in the surrounding areas why not pop along and say hello plus as Josh said I will have my VCDS cable and laptop with me so I can do some fault finding etc if you need it.

To be honest its usually me n Josh (I think the best we have done so far was 5 cars and most of them were from another forum!) So if you can make it please do even if its just to say Hi as this way we can maybe get these meets in this area a bit more regular and popular :p

As Josh is the events moderator might be best to PM him your mobile numbers etc for him to send out texts etc but feel free to PM me too.

I'm moving to Southampton on Friday and don't know anyone down there yet so if i'm not to busy moving in ill try and pop down to say hi.
 
In fact count me in I've just seen where it is and I've got to go there on Saturday to collect my tools and stuff from a friend. :)

No probs mate this is only an impromptu meet as such as me and Josh wanted to catch up with each other so we thought it would be nice to extend the open invitation as such.

Keep looking as I am sure there will be more around the area in the year especially when the weather improves and we would be glad to have you attend :)
 
Hi, I live in Southampton and would definatly come to these, unfortunatley having the kids this weekend means im going to miss out. Been looking for something like this for a while tho, so please keep me informed on future dates, thanks Ant

Well this is only the first meet of 2013 so am sure there will be more just keep your eye on this section or just PM me or JtotheD if you want any more info.

The place we meet in Beaulieu Motor Museum car park is quite easy to find but it is quite a big place so thought i would just post up a quick directions as such.

I am assuming anyone who attends will be able to find the motor museum ok as it is a tourist attraction and is also well signposted so will leave those directions up to you.

Once you arrive at Beaulieu MM you will enter into a big estate as this is the stately home grounds. the road loops round and leads you past the entrance to the actual museum.

Ignore all the car parks you see until you have passed the entrance to the museum (it will be on you left hand side) as you pass this you will see immediately on the left an entrance (its like a cobbled road with wooden fences) which leads to the car park on the left. Go in here and follow the road all the way to the bottom of the car park where the trees are as this is where we normally congregate as it usually quite quiet.

Be warned the car parks are gravel and have multiple pot holes etc so take it easy on your way down the way in.

It has been raining since I left work, but now I'm about to leave it's stopped! Didn't have time to clean the old girl :(

Was great to meet you guys last week, and thanks for logging my car Rob. Hopefully we can make this a regular meet.

Will try and make a meet more regular once the weather improves a bit it will be easier :)

annoyingly all the log data we got plus the others i had saved on my netbook haver gone as for some reason when i updated to the latest version of VCDS it deleted the folder with them in :(
