a3 gear knob changing help!!!

Hi I bought my a3 now and it come with a stupid chavved up gear knob and don't like it but I need to buy a new on I would like to put it Back original but I don't know what one will on it can I fit a new style gear knob on it and how I have a 5 speed box

I have an S3 gear knob leather gator and gloss black trim the know is even fitted with a five speed pattern log looking for £20 picked up which isn't to bad as I live about 3 miles from Blackwood

Hi carpy atm I need to know if it will fit on a normal a3 as mines 5speed s3 are 6 would the knob also fit, cars off the road atm too so can't reach you I'm over the valleys in aberdare

as long as the last owner has not hacked the gear stick to fit the aftermarket knob you have on there now it will fit I'll get some pics at the weekend for you I'm in no hurry pop over when you fix your car with the snow forcast for the weekend all the cars will be off the road around here anyway

will sort out a pic tomorrow also got a black leather s3 handbrake handle as well if your interested in that as wellRob
 
all these fit a facelift A3 not 100% sure they fit earlier cars but we could trial fit them

I do like look that gear knob if you could hold on to it be great hopefully it will fit :D silly chrome chavy one I had in mine from guy before I found the original in boat behind a panel lol, but its ****ed missing the cap and its wear down bad
