Just a quick question guys and girls .....Do ATE Make the Brake Pads for the S3 Front Brakes ?

Pagid also squeal no matter what and I arent takin this you must use are special cera tec lube to stop it lol. Stick with ate in my experience and I sell pagid day in day out.

I believe Audi make OE pads lol
Audi don't make any brake parts themselves bud there made by ate and stamped with Audi logo,if you buy ate pads in many cases you can actually see where the Audi logo has been covered or removed.

When fitting anything onto a hub of a vehicle where it be discs, pads or the alloy, you apply something called "copper grease" it'll prevent corrosion and that item from seizing, as for the pads it will also eliminate the chance of vibration in the calliper, never put a hub back together without copper grease could save you the time of having to rebuild it because something is squealing.

I've found Mintex to be pretty good with OEM equivalent.

Thanks guys. I'm goner go with ATE. As it's the OEM Standard and I've found a good price for them.

My pagid disc and pad combo on my last car was faultless.
I like the fact that the non service areas of the disc are painted
so they don't go rusty 2 weeks after fitting. Even during and after
a damn good thrashing round Castle Combe they never made a sound.

I've also had pagid pads on 2 a3's over the last 5 years never had squeal once mate, and they are OEM spec
