I have a 2007 car running my phone via the Audi radio/handsfree with Bluetooth. It works generally OK, but there is no ringtone other than the one on my phone which is a bit quiet when travelling. Does the Audi system have a ringtone that needs to be switched on some how.

What phone are you using and what headunit? Concert/Symphony/RNSE?

With my iphone and rnse the ringtone set on the phone plays over the speakers as well as the phone.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I'd really like to get any old ring tine played over the speakers.

I used to have a HTC Wildfire S (android) and all I could get was a generic ringtone played over the bluetooth/speakers, regardless of what ringtone the phone was using.

Now have an iPhone and I get whatever ringtone is on the phone played over the BT/speakers.

It's how to turn on or turn up the speakers for ring tone purposes I would like to know. General conversation on the phone handsfree the volume is fine.

I also have an S2 with audi bluetooth on RNS-E, think we just have to live with it mate
