ASN Dyno Day @ Badger5 - Sunday 11th November 2012

that's dedication man, I've even decided not to have a beer this evening so I don't feel quite so evil tomorrow morning for the long and noisey drive!

You want to try my car !!! Max and I have to get across London first before 100 miles of un-silenced noise lol

Mwwwaaaahhh I've run out of home brew beer so no beer for me either.

don't worry boys, I'll drink a couple for you ;)

Anyone heading down the M42, Maccy D's 9am meeting point, it's off jcn4(A3400), head towards B'ham for around a mile, then do a U Turn at the island, as it's on the otherside of the road. 2 speed camera's 40mph limit.

Just a quick one:

a chap called Adam Hobden is coming down from Hull for this (crazy northerners!), I believe he spoke directly to Bill about it on facebook but not being a member on here he didnt add himself to the list.

May we add him in somewhere? Pleeeeeeeeease
It'll be an interesting one

I'm so hardcore even my breakfast is a hybrid!

I've mixxed a Cheese and brocolli pasta N sauce with a Cheese Leak and Ham pasta N sauce.

Seriously good hybrid right there, miles better than a CR

See you all in a few hours!

I've Literally woken up this morning wondering if i'm gonna regret not going/gettin involved in this earlier... :sob:

Alright chaps, good to meet all of you today.

Thanks to Bill, Tufty and the other guys (who's names I can't remember) who put in the hard work to make the day go smoothly and thanks to Prawn for administering the paper work.
Had good day, glad my car didn't explode, I'm now wondering where my missing 7 bhp have gone. :uhm: I did notice I left the heated seats on - but I don't think Bill absorbed 7bhp of power in the seats while he was dynoing it?!

Liam

Big thanks to all including Bill and Prawn for making this dyno day happen. Great to meet everyone and thank you for the information which I have already used, watch this space, will get the video's up on youtube in the next day or so and if you were wondering it was roast beef and it was lovely!. See you all next season when I might have the Rocket ready!!

Sounds like I missed a good one, especially after I have done nothing all day.

Thank you all very much.

To the badger 5 team for their efforts and the participants for their friendliness. Not one to attend this sorts of events usually but I Enjoyed coming up, having a chat and having an opportunity to see what it's all about.

Lol....'Only one "piky map" today, all the boost and none of the fuel.. But at last owner knows now what its like and can sort it'...was this mine by any chance?

Tbh...I'll have to give you a call bill to get a quote to resolve the fueling either way and Appreciate the candidness. It looked like there is plenty more to come if that was rectified and I might need to sort some rods at the same time.

On that note...how'd the piky map place after all of the runs today? :)

Lol @pikey map, not yours Jim, Nilzy's I think?

Thanks to Bill and co. for sorting the day out, always good to catch up with some old friends also.

Reasonably happy with my run, made a decent figure for Stage1 map.

Thanks for a great day to all. Im slightly worried about my missing 40hp and + 50 lbft

Cheers for a good day lads, was nice to meet Bill/Prawn etc.... for the first time! Gutted my car mis-behaved yet again :( although 316bhp with 12 degree of timing correction isnt bad

also managed to blow the backbox up on the way home :p

see you all next time with fingers crossed a car that makes power

Hi All, I'll echo the words above. Thanks especially to Bill & Tuffty for all of their hard work whilst the rest of us stood around chatting in the sunshine and eating doughnuts!

Great to finally find out what the car's producing and even better that it's all still in one piece! The "more-power" bug is definitely biting me now though...

Nilz - after you've sorted out the pikey map, sort out that pikey front bumper too mate...!

Thoroughly knackered but had a great day... apologies for not talking to you lot much but was kinda busy lol... was good to meet up with members new and old and hope to see you all again in next years round of shows and obviously another dyno day :D

Cheers Bill, Paul, Tony and Nick. Had a good laugh today and really pleased with my Black car. Not bad for a car I paid £5500 for and apart from replace the turbo, have done ****** all to it. No for a Badger5 TIP :yahoo:

Thanks to Team Badger for organising a great day and to all those involved.

The dyno results didn't exactly blow me away but I'm definitely high from the exhaust fumes inhaled. :). It's all good, room for improvement I say!
