As per thread title the A3 is gone, after many mostly happy miles, with the odd blip. Traded it in for this.

My old car will be off to some auction in London area, complete with prvt plate and all mods still on! ( got a good price on the car and this purchase was v quick). The GIAC Flashloader is still sitting in the drivers seat tray, if anyone buys it and ends up on PM me :) . Hope it goes to an enthusiast who will look after it.

Well done on the trade dude...

My car was in for some warranty work and I had one of these for the weekend and I loved it!

Cheers .Me too, I'm in love. Wanted something brisk, but more of a cruiser with all the toys, and sh*tloads of style. The ride and clutch in the A3 was becoming a pain in the ****. Will miss that little ****** though.

we need more pics :D
cool change :D

How much did have to put on top ...or was it a straight swap?

The new A5's headlights are out of this world, Audi does it again. Lovely car, enjoy

U know it.....it makes are lights look old.....:(

What engine is in your A5? Looks nice in the picture!

Congrats buddy! The A5's look amazing, but they don't drive anywhere as nice as the A3s.

Straight swop? haha far from it, 2005 A3 with 80k Miles vs new 2012 A5 cab....got a good trade in price though.

The FL headlights look frickin awesome:yum: . It's a 2.0TFSI quattro S-Tronic. Not so bothered about speed now, but the newer version of this engine in here has great torque and still economical despite the weight.
As for A3 driving better, they are totally different, but the A5 has a far more advanced chassis and torsen quattro system, with a 40:60 torque split, with better traction and more balanced engine braking. The 20"s feel like steam rollers on the road also! But the ride is actually ok even with S-Line set up.

Interior and B&O system are amazing. Will be on A5oc mainly now,but thanks for all the help with my A3 and showing me ways to blow m my money on it!
