What do people use on their leather seats/steering wheel/gaiters etc. I currently use Autoglym Leather Balm, I have no complaints just doesnt really seem to do anything...

I use the same, every 3 months or so to keep the leather nourished and supple. No complaints with it at all

Not the best idea to just use creams without cleaning. Your just trapping all the grease and dirt in that way. Like waxing a car without washing it!

Use a cleaner, then a nourisher, cream etc.

I use Gliptone these days. Have used Auto Glym before too. Gliptone smells way better though.
Unless its really poor condition, you wont get miracles. It will keep it supple and nicer looking though.

I was going to say I don't want to know what you get up to at weekends but realised you meant the inside of the car :p

Depending on the condition of the car I use a couple of options:

1) Clean using APC and then protect with 303 Aerospace

OR

2) Clean using APC and then use Valet Pro Argus Leather Cream

Cheers, I think ill try the Valet Pro Argus Leather Cream next!

I have just used the Gliptone leather cleaner on my front seats and its totally transformed them, they were quite shiny on the bolsters but now they are 'matt' looking all over.

Well pleased and well recommended - Gliptone.

Has anyone got a link to this APC stuff i need to use?

Thanks,
Dan

APC - All Purpose Cleaner. Whether that be a specialised 'datailing' product or your supermarket special Flash, Daisy, W5, etc

As said, its available almost anywhere!

Detailing World rave about Tesco Daisy.
I have a giant Megs APC, so not tried anything else yet. But you can alter the ratio for tougher jobs.

Ive been reading around and many poeple say to use Gliptone 11 and then 12?
Theres a guy that sells the pair for around 12quid on ebay, is that worth it?
Thanks,
Dan

Thats about what I pay for my gliptone cleaner and conditioner.
I think I use it to much though (is that possible?). I buy 2 bottles every couple of months. lol

I've all ways used gliptone on the Audi, Pug and BMWs. Love the stuff and the smell.
I might go out and put some one now.

lol, have you used Autoglym? Is it better than that? I might just get this stuff next anyway

Ordered my gliptone stuff just now. £12.75 delievered from ebay and a soft leather cleaning brush from the cleanyourcar website (Only 1.99 plus shipping). Hopefully will arrive before the weekend! :) Will keep you posted on results!

Still waiting for some decent weather to go outside and sort my leathers now i have the gliptone stuff with me.

Do you guys suggest i also use this on the leather such as on the gear gaiter and steering wheel?

Thanks,
Dan
