Not a sportback fan (except for yours n8), and that picture really shows how similar it is to the a1. I'm sure it'll look better in a lighter colour, I really want to like the 8v but I just don't.

not a fan of the front... the wing mirrors position and the bonnet shape is still too A1, makes it look too small. and those tyres don't do it any justice...
the rear end looks nice and mean though! looks like it has an S3 diffuser on it too

The back end on the current SB is better than the 3 door too..Loving the rear end ...........better then the 3 door....4 sure..
I just don't like the new style rear lights on the 3 door at all.. Or on the new a4! But on this, they look a bit better
...
Looks good - and if it looks good like this, then it'll look even better in a decent colour with nice wheels. It's not a big departure from the current shape, which in some ways is pleasing.

The new shape is starting to grow on me now. I actually quite like this now, not sure about the front yet though.

I'm starting to wonder whether this'll be like that horrific bug-eyed version of the impreza that subaru made in 2000 (had a face like someone had just poked a pencil up it's a$$!!).. People kept saying as loudly as they could "I'm sure it'll grow on you once you've got used to it" like they were trying to convince themselves
When the 8p came out, and subsequent facelifts, I always thought instantly that they were a step forward.. But this looks a little too friendly and "samey" as the slightly feminine new a1's and a4 etc shape.. my 2p feel free to disagree..

Apart from the rather odd wing mirror position I like that a lot.
It looks a lot like the new A4 from the front, and is in bog standard guise/ spec in those pics. If you look the new A4 in SE spec compared to S line spec there's a hella lot of difference in the appearance and look of the car.
