Since the sun was out again today I thought I'd throw the black indicators in. I bought them from - www.bm-town.com for just over £20.

Here is the before

They are a bit fiddly to get to, you need to jack the car up, remove the wheel and then remove the lining in the wheel arch. You will need a Torx 25 allen key or screwdriver for this.

wheel off and lining removed -

When this is off, you might find a couple of inches of mud behind it. this is what i found -

this is what it should look like -

You now have access to get to the inside of the panel, on the drivers side there is a metal box in the way -

you can just the light popping through on this angle -

The indicator case as a clip on one side, you need to press this in as you push it out, if you need to get something on the outside to slide underneath it just to ease it out, once the clip pops its out, then you simply pull the lead out and push into your new one and slot back into place, pushing the side without the clip in first and then popping the other side in, you will hear it lock once that clip gets into place.

End product -

They do look much better but I have never had to remove the wheel arch lining.
They usually just slide out no bother. Just push it against the spring side and they pop out?

Tried that first, was really really tight and didnt want to put a screwdriver in to try and get it out! No way I could get to the inside without going under that lining. Not confident enough to go in with brute force and see what happens! haha

Looks nice mate, adds to a meaner/moody look

thats must have took ages for a 5 min job
