A3 (8P Chassis) Rear Diff/Haldex unit part numbers

Hello All
The Rear diff and Haldex unit on my 2006 2.0 tdi has finaly given up the ghost, i have sourced one but the part numbers are not exactly the same and it from an S3. The part number on my unit is OAV 525 554G and the one i have sourced is OAV 525 554F. I phoned Audi and they were completely unhelpful.
Anybody know if there is a difference.

Sorry cannot help you about the part fitment but i do have a standard 2006 PD140 quattro haldex that was removed from my car still boxed and in my garage if you want it.

According to ETKA, version F is for the petrol engine and version G is for the diesel engine.

Either way they are both the same price so are probably the same (£1200)

I had massive problems with my S3 and had the prop shaft and diff replaced in my ownership. I would check with Audi first of all as if it has previous with the dealer network and it is logged in Audi's system you will be offered compensation of some sort, as said more so if it has been kept within the dealer network and service regime has been upheld.
