well as my s3 is in the audi spray shop getting the roof rails done thought it would be a good time to get of my **** and spend some time getting my clio williams 2 started and cleaned has been 2 years  first of took the spark plugs out and put a little diesel with a syringe and left it over night then turned the engine by hand in the morning everything seemed sweet so drained the oil and put new oil and a filter on, new battery and some fuel and it started up straight away now running sweet good old engine :icon_thumright: gave it a wash in and out and a little polish dont look bad for nearly 18 years old time to get an mot and get it out on the road and have some fun:racer:

Always had a liking for these wee motors, aswell as the 172/182 etc.

Strange, as i usually hate small cars and rather walk, and especially hate any French cars....

So, whats the plans for it?

thats it mate you ether buy a rusty one which most have now and spend out on getting it sorted or pay more and for one thats in good con im gonna give it a couple more years and get a full respray :) sort out any rust issues to

Nice Williams, Hybrid owner here :) mines been off the road for over a year while i get funds to get rid of all of the rust! Engines are great in these and make such a great induction noise with a scuttle kit!

Hope you don't mind but heres mine

Nice clio mate yeah I'm in the process in sorting out my sill then put it through the mot that's the thing with these French motors and rust my engine is sweet though still pulls very well :)

for the last few months i have been busy with a restoration project getting this williams 2 mint again it sat ther for 4 years off the road and really rotted away :( thats the only thing with this car is just body work everything else is sound. Also about a year ago i bought an other clio williams a number 1 which i will be restoring in the future its put away in the garage ever since i got it as i thought i would be breaking the no 2 as it was in such a sore state as you will see, but me and my mate steve managed to bring back to life :)

im going to try a copy and paste alot of my stuff with this project of an other forum enjoy

got alot done on the williams 2 the last 3 weeks big thanks to my mate Steve for all the help with the welding got so many pictures to post up and im really happy with the way its coming along i was that close to stripping it at one point but glad i didnt. The williams 1 is still in the garage think it will be there awhile and this No 2 on the road asap
