s3 centre wheel caps

Evening chaps,

I have bought some new wheel nut caps from Audi as my current ones have discoloured. I have tried to get them out using a screwdriver and cloth but I've struggled and worried about marking my alloys.

Is there a special tool for getting these out or anything you can recommend?
 
Or a wire with a ring on one end and the wire bent at 90 degrees the other end

I had to get a pucture repaired on my lease A3 and the guy asked for the centre cap remover and I had no idea what he was on about - lol

He looked in the boot and there is was, exactly as you describe it!!
