Hi, I've got a 53 plate A6 saloon(C5). From looking at the current and past audi models the front bumper looks quite plain and boring, not very sporty in the slightest. Without buying a expensive horrible looking bodykit from europe what are my options?

I'm not looking for a chavvy look, far from it but a sporty 'look'. I've seen on the U.S forum that people have fitted a flexible rubber strip to the bottom of the bumper. Some A3/A4 owners add the LCR splitter.

Has anybody tried anything or got any ideas?

Yes, I had the LCR splitter fitted and for only £20 ish, it was worth it, just needs trimming and the ends when fitting.
took it off when we shipped the car to Oz and not got round to refitting it yet.

I like the idea of that Watty. i've seen it done to a lot of A3 and A4's. I dont suppose you got any pics of it whith the splitter on?

I found this one....

cheers Watty! I've got a better idea on how the splitter looks now.

That is a funky looking A6 you got!

I fitted a LCR splitter to my RS6 bumper:

Then during a bit of work smoothed it in:

Sorry, just realized you were on about an add on for the stock bumper.
