Happy with this aswell wasnt sure how it would work with the votex, had to push it back a little further than I would have like with the recess in the splitter being smaller than the recess in the skirt but overall looks tidy and imo OEM :)

Cheers m8, You get your wheels refurbed then? erm next. . . . Started a thread on Bose LED speaker grilles, so if the price is right ill be getting them, then I think im guna get a set of alu pedal to sort the footwell out :)

just gives people an idea how it sits under the bumper from a tad further away ie as if you were driving towards the car sort of thing

I like the rest of the car, but I'm really not feeling those rims - I don't see the point of putting a non-Audi logo on an Audi, for a start, and I don't know if it's just the photo (I've never seem them in person) but those rims always look like a cut up tin takeaway tray to me.

Fair doo's, dont really see what difference a centre cap makes myself but each to there own and I really dont know where your coming from about the wheels they are a quality well built rim with style and class that have been used many times on flawless show winning cars.

P.s who cuts up take away trays? surely you would just chuck them in the bin

Looks amazing on the new rims mate. I didn't think I would in my head, but looking at it I prefer these over your old set of Bentleys I think!

Maybe just wind the nose down (or the back up) a touch to level out that reverse rake and you'll have nailed it mate.

nose down ftw , thats why I've left the rear up a tad so its got no nasty RR

I'm not sure, maybe that's why it seems so alien to me :p

As always mate, each to their own - I'm not really into most show cars, if I'm honest, so I wouldn't take my taste too much to heart - I'm more into smaller, subtle changes. I really can't say what it is I don't like about the rims though, other than the above analogy which doesn't quite work either. Something about the way the spokes overlap the outer ring of the rim, or the lack of sidewall making it look like the tyres are flat... I can't quite put my finger on it.

It's not even that I think they particularly bad, they just don't sit right with me for some reason. Anyway, enough meandering explanation, I very much suspect I'm in the minority on this one :)

Car looks top notch to me, lots to aspire to.

I like your old five spoke B's better, then these ones.....I think ..

looks good mate
Cheers Fran
