The Stance Thread

I went for the H&R over Eibach as I personally wanted equal lowering front and rear and not the nose down look.

Eibach giving a "nose down" stance is a bit of a myth.
There's only 10mm difference between front and rear so the only place that you notice it is... the gaps between arch and tyre are equal at the front and rear, where as with h&r there's slightly less gap at the rear, giving a "nose up" stance ;)

But either way its hard to notice unless you take a proper look.

Fair comments :)

Ads, that begs the question, what benefits do the Eibach springs give over the standard ones? Other than the obvious lower ride height. I'm hoping they'll be a little less crashy than standard s-line set up.

Eibachs on my Subaru were not very good IMHO. Even worse when I moved to Eibach coilovers. Lol

I've tried H&R, Eibach and some of the other cheaper branded springs on several other cars I've owned and I just prefer the quality of the H&R product - that is just my opinion though

Eibach coilovers are terrible.

I thought so too and it was a bad decision on my part! They were well hard and so crashy on our roads. Jees i wasted so much money on that car. lol

What difference does the super make?

The Sper RS are 2 piece forged, normal RS's are three piece and don't tend to come in 18/19" sizes.

The Super RS is still in production so you can buy new from BBS, the normal RS's ceased production years ago.

Ahh interesting you learn something new everyday!

Thanks :)

How would 235/35/19 look on 9x19 et52 all round?

Will they go straight on?

Will spacers be needed at rear else the track is wider at the front

Very nice!
Thanks Nathan!
I got some rubbing issues all over but the car is on very soft setup at the moment,
need to stiffen her up and go down in the front for another 6-8mm!
Oh and at the back i will also remove the screw bumper. I think that will do the trick ;)
