Well it was bound to happen, went to midland VW today to check out they oil leak and turns out to be my turbo oil return pipe is leaking and my NS driveshaft seal is leaking oil from there aswel.. All in all around £270ish! There was a kink in the return pipe!

driveshaft is a pain but not too hard to do. and not hard either, once you done it once it will take you half the time next time. turbo hose is just leaning it up and making sure it tight I would have thought

I would but no time to really get it done before the new year and I need to stop that leak asap as its all over the drive way. I normally would do it myself but this case im just lazy! lol Anyone had a problem with their Oil return pipe before?

never had a problem with it before. I guess it depends where its leaking from, behind the sump or turbo side.

Go on, dont be lazy, who couldnt do with 200 quid in there pocket this time of year!

Hope it's nothing major mate, everything else running good?

If i left it it would get worse but with the weather nowadays never get time to clean it let alone fix it lol! But the car runs smoothly, just gotta get that sorted asap. Got my tracking and balancing done today with my tyres Nitrogen filled, runs alot smoother although I dont know if it'll make any difference to my MPG! Will need to do get a knocking noise sorted, i think its a drop link tbh but i'll get that checked and change that myseld :D

Well mate my MOT was due this month, just done, needed rear springs and brake pipes.

Tax is out the end of the month too, think yourself lucky lol, bang goes 500 bucks

Pfff - I just spent a grand putting in a new clutch/fly and gearbox.
Trumped you all.

And just incase you can beat that.. I also had to spend over £600 getting my old car mint before selling it to its new owner this month. Ouch.

Oooo ya! Lots of mOnies! I just spent £1560 insuring it last month and tax aswel! Maybe Santa might pop a B5 TIP under my tree for me:p

I don't feel so bad any more mate, you've got to laugh, ****** cars.

Annoys the hell out of me folk running round the roads no tax / insurance / no license / mot etc when we spend rakes keeping our cars in good nick and legal!!
