Maybe a S4 as it sounds bigger than a 4 pot.

....with stiff suspension from the way the camera was shaking....or was that the passenger shaking in his boots ?

You got me mate, I really dislike Saxo's...
The thing that gets me is it's cheaper to insure an Audi A3 then a Saxo so why do people insure saxo's over Audi's :p

Looks to have the carbon cloth recaros found in the RS4 but its a saloon so it cant be an RS4 but might be an S4, dont know if they were an option or not.

Saxo VTR's were 1.6 8v 90-100BHP depending on year, the VTS was 1.6 16v 120BHP same as the 106GTI.

Seen this video before, pretty stupid really racing through the streets.
When I first seen it I expected to see a crash.

people doing that boils my p*ss there's a time and place to go fast and race and its blatantly not round a built up area..... rant over ...

car sounds nice though lol

No it's not my Saxo, I would never get in one, death traps! Theese are idiots and it's not cool driving high speeds, just when the Audi got on the "motorway" think its a dual carriage way it nearly clipped that car?

Anything is possible with these little rockets:

People buy them because they are ****** good cars, seriously how narrow minded are you?

If you haven't got an informed opinion don't voice one at all!

Depends what you want it for doesn't it, as a quick car to hoon through the lanes or out on a track I'd pick a Saxo over an A3 or even an S3 for smiles every single day. Admittedly they have a terrible image and tend to be driven by chavs but the reason for all of that is they are a cheap car to buy, easily accessible, easily modified and done right can be super quick. They are one of the cheapest and best ways of getting into motorsport for sure.

Saxo aren't that easy to modify the only thing you can do to get lots of horsepower is turbocharge it and thats -->$$$$$

but you have a point stock saxo vts 1.6 16v are fun cars to drive on a track for daily use i prefer my a3

but if you want a cheap fast car just buy a 130 hp a3 tdi with a good remap, big ic, a downpipe and full exhaust and a racing clutch you can run 205 hp and have lots more torque than a saxo

A diesel?! I literally cannot believe somebody just compared a Saxo VTS to a Diesel A3 :lmfao:

Cams, headwork, manifolds, throttle bodies and flywheel = 175bhp which in a Saxo is more than enough and would totally smoke a 205bhp diesel A3. You don't have to spend mega money to turbo them, there are people who have done it for less than £2000 which is certainly less than it would cost to get 200bhp out of a PD A3 and offers much better gains!

Getting 205 hp out of a pd a3 aint that hard with a good remap and downpipe your there

If you love Saxo's so much why you on an Audi fourm? :p
Yeh jardo you muppet. :lmfao:
Must say iv had both saxo vts and 106 gti back when they where fresh, and tbh both fun cars as STD. Can't enter int The modding augment as I know **** all but they are ****** good fun to drive and handle well as stock for what they are.

Got to say a lot of ppl at work got Saxos when I had the CRX. the VTR was v slow the VTS just had the legs on a std CRX.

They didn`t like my coment that they had purchased the effective new AX and how many of those were left ???? Needless to say my 140,000 mile CRX outdid most of them, it never broke the paxo`s did So ive never liked them either.

Think it was only all the free insurance deals they did that sold so many of them imo hardly see any now round here

That proves nothing, other than that a TT is still a bit quicker than his A3. Got a dyno print out stating the modifications?

I aint got a dyno print its not my car its from a friend but with the big ic and full exhaust it had 205 hp on the dyno , just say it was a bad dyno than it still must had at least 180-190 hp that thing was quick !!

oh forgot I couldn`t even get sat right in the 106, I went to buy one and then realised they had a slopy bit from the center console to the stearing wheel. That is where my knee should go lol

180bhp is what I would expect from a stage 2 PD130 , there is a massive gulf and a lot of money between a 200+bhp PD130 and 180bhp though.

Thats irrelevant though, the point I am trying to make is that VTS's and 106 GTI's are ****** good cars, shouldn't be looked down upon and would show up a lot of cars on this forum in the right hands standard or otherwise.

Take the unfortunately reinforced social stereotype away and 8 valves from the car and you are left with a modern day 205 GTI "the best hot hatch ever made" in most peoples eyes.

I'm here for you and Solly mate, you've given me new purpose in my life.

:ninja:

As for the original post.. What a set of dicks

Pbut the audi driver does sound lime Scott b5 ;)

They all sound foreign to me dude ;)

They deserve to be locked up for that sort of driving! A4 sounds lovely though. I guess it's an S4?

Just to add to that don't you need the PD150 'VB' bigger turbo to break 200hp as the PD130 VA turbo is abit small and weak.
